Open Timer, choose a duration, and select a fade from none to two minutes. A fade longer than the timer is shortened to fit. Your duration and fade are remembered for the next session. Choose continuous playback to listen without a timer.

Yes. Start playback before locking your iPhone. You can pause from the Lock Screen. A call or another audio session can interrupt playback. After an interruption, automatic resume follows iOS permission; tap Play if playback stays paused.

In Settings, enable playback alongside other audio. Adjust this app’s volume to balance the sounds with your podcast or music. The other app keeps its Lock Screen controls in this mode.
